Upcoming Open Enrollment for 2016 Medicare Insurance

This is your chance to replace existing Medicare Insurance or apply for a new one without medical questions. For the insurance to start on 1-1-2016 you must apply by 12-7-2015.

  1. The Open Enrollment period for Medicare Insurance: October 15, 2015 through December 7, 2015. If you apply on time a January 1 2016 coverage is guaranteed
  2. What’s included in a Qualified Medicare Insurance?

  3. No questions about health and no exclusions due to pre-existing conditions
  4. No cost for preventive services (including flu shots, annual physical etc..)
  5. Coverage for behavioral conditions (like ADHD and many others) are included
  6. Hospitals, lab works, imaging (MRI, CT) doctor visits are included
  7. Once you have the Medicare card (Part A and B included), you may purchase Medicare Supplement (Medigap) or Medicare Advantage products
  8. Prescription plans (Rx , Part D – PDP) may be included within the Advantage plans, but not included with the Medicare Supplement plans. Part D plan may be purchased separately.
  9. In most cases Dental and Vision plans may be purchased separately
  10. What if I do not apply on time?

  11. If Medicare not purchased when first available, a delay in coverage and or higher premium may be required for coverage.
  12. Special Open Enrollments may be granted outside of the regular Open Enrollment through life events such as: lost of other coverage, relocating to another service area, diagnosed with certain medical conditions, etc…
